Today’s summer replay we go to Romans 9 to look at God’s sovereignty and your body and body image! It’s tough to tackle one of the biggest, richest, and deepest passages of the Bible in such a short amount of time. But, today, Heather attempts to apply Paul’s wisdom about the sovereignty of God to our bodies and body image issues. If you’ve ever struggled with believing that God made you look the way you do on purpose, or that God can use you, just as you are in your body, for his purpose–you’ll want to listen to this.

Here’s what we talk about in today’s episode about God’s Sovereignty and Your Body:

**We dig into Romans 9 starting in verse 10 and landing in verse 23.

**We concentrate on the question posed in Romans 9:20-21 about whether or not the clay as a right to ask the potter how and why he’s made it that way.

**We look at how Romans 9 explains that God is the potter and how we are the clay.

**We talk about how God created us on purpose, for a purpose, including the way our bodies look.

**We dig into the concept of God choosing what kind of vessel we are and what we were made for.

**We talk about the way to surrender back to God our bodies for the purpose He created us for.
