Ever feel like you don’t fit in? Ever struggle to be part of the crowd? Do you ever feel like you’re in that old Sesame Street game, “Which of these is not like the other?”
If so, know you’re not alone.
Most of us feel that way at some point in our lives. Making new friends, finding your people, becoming a part of your community, your church … it takes time. And, it takes some intentionality too.
But, if you struggle with comparison and body image issues, sometimes there’s a tendency to hold back. . .to wonder if you’re really acceptable? Know that if you’ve struggled with any of the above, I get it! I’ve been there too.
I’ve felt like I didn’t fit in at all and prayed God would allow me to find a new place where I did. But, I’ve also seen God work through situations, places, and people to help me feel at home in places I never thought I’d be a part.
